Each document is priced individually, based on the number of billing pages in the sworn translation.
Sworn translations
1 billing page = 1,125 characters with spaces.
This follows from the Regulation of the Ministry of Justice which also provides that a properly prepared sworn translation must include description of all seals, signatures, stamps, watermarks, notes etc. which increases the volume of the translation.
Non-sworn translations
For standard (non-sworn) translations, one billing page equals 1,600 characters with spaces.

Sworn translations in Warsaw – the essentials
How much does a sworn (certified) translation cost?
The price is quoted individually, based on the number of billing pages (1 page = 1,125 characters with spaces), the type of document and the deadline. The quote is free and non-binding – just e-mail me a scan or a photo of your document.
How long does a translation take?
I give you the turnaround time together with the quote – it depends on the length and type of the document. Short personal documents, such as civil status certificates or driving licences, can usually be prepared quickly.
Is a scan or a photo of the document enough?
Yes – both for the quote and for the translation itself. In that case the certification states that the translation was made from a copy. If the authority requires a translation made from the original, please show me the original document.
Is an electronic (PDF) sworn translation valid?
Yes. A sworn translation in PDF format signed with a qualified electronic signature has the same legal force as a paper version with a stamp. Before ordering, it is worth checking that the institution accepts documents in electronic form.
What documents do you translate?
Among others: birth, marriage and death certificates, driving licences and vehicle documents, medical certificates, court judgments and decisions, powers of attorney, agreements, financial and inheritance documents, and articles of association – for private clients, law firms and businesses.
Where can I collect my translation?
At my office at ul. Bukowińska 8/1008 in Mokotów, right next to Wilanowska metro station – also easy to reach from Ursynów and Wilanów. Meetings are by appointment only. Electronic translations are sent by e-mail.
